In this part of the world you are spoilt for choice with places to eat out. The Harbour Inn (Hall & Woodhouse) at Axmouth is another recommended pub with excellent meals.
The family owned and run Ship Inn also in Axmouth is well worth a visit and serves excellent food.

Portland has a lot to offer with many things to see and do. About 55 mins from Dolphins.
The Jailhouse Cafe has amazing views outside. Excellent food at very reasonable prices too.
Open 9.30am to 4pm daily. Head towards Fortuneswell and turn left by the sign to the Verne.

Boveys Down Farm, Farway, Honiton


Situated on a working farm in the middle of the Devon countryside. Offering lovely breakfasts,
lunches, including Sunday roasts and evening meals.
The Barn: 'The Swallow's Rest' is open day to day (closed Tuesdays) offering delicious cream teas,
Devon pasties and other homemade country fare from the farm kitchen.
